The two settings, called the Spinney Hoole Village and the Spinney Bell Meadow, have linked up with local business The Club and Spa to set up an employee of the month award.
Staff who are nominated as employee of the month are rewarded with a spa treatment of their choice.
The scheme has been set up by the nursery owners, husband and wife team Alison and John Thomson, as a way of rewarding exceptional performance and boosting staff motivation.
Ms Thomson, a former teacher, said, 'I had a discussion with the lady in charge at The Club and Spa and she suggested setting up a reward scheme. I really liked the idea, as we haven't really got the finances to pay bonuses and we thought it was a way of saying thank you and giving staff something nice to do.
'Recently one of our managers won, as she has put a lot of work into an Ofsted inspection that we have coming up. However, it doesn't have to be a senior member of staff - it can be anyone. We employ 30 staff between our two nurseries and we really try to support them.'
