Activity: Obstacle courses are fun for all ages. A crawling baby enjoys going over a cushion, while a six-year-old child may relish the challenge of running in and out of cones, jumping over a bench and crawling through a play tunnel.
Plan an indoor or outdoor obstacle course for an individual child or a group of children you work with. Evaluate your activity, explaining your own role and what you feel the children gained from this activity.
