Reception children from Bolton Brow Primary Academy in Halifax used children’s laureate Cressida Cowell’s ten-point plan on books and reading as inspiration for their visit to the Corner Bookshop.
There, they met a bookseller, listened to some stories and chose a fabulous picturebook to take home at the end of the year. After their busy day, the children went to visit Mr Bryson and Mr Dow at Grosvenor’s butcher’s stall to say thank you for sponsoring the event.
