Norland Nannies: traditional values - modern methods

Liz Hunt, principal at Norland College, talks about how the 120-year-old institution has changed and how sophisticated IT systems are now helping it to deliver 21st Century childcare training

Norland College, where our nannies are trained, has been at the forefront of Early Years care and education since 1892 when it was founded by the inspirational infant school teacher, Emily Ward.

Our students can spend up to four  years gaining the qualifications and skills they need for success in their chosen careers, earning top salaries and clinching some of the most sought after positions.

Although we were the first college in the country to offer formal childcare training over 100 years ago, we want to ensure our students continue to provide the finest care to children and their families throughout their tuition and as qualified nannies.
