A 120,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund has enabled Magherafelt Women's Group in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, to expand its creche into full daycare provision. The new facility offers 50 full-time childcare places and has been named Kidz Lodge. It is across the road from the local primary school and well located for its popular after-school club. The money was part of 576,973 in lottery funding which was granted to seven projects across Northern Ireland in the Building Quality Childcare Programme.
