A centralised payroll has been set up for members of the East Lothian Out of School Care Network. The service includes payment of wages, calculation of taxes and national insurance, and the administration and payment of tax credits to staff who qualify. A member of staff has been employed to run the system and liaise with out-of-school clubs and five are already using the service, with another three due to take it up in March or April.
