A job of work for all the parties

We support the Ten-Year Childcare Strategy, but continue to call on all political parties to meet the needs of the strategy.

We support the Ten-Year Childcare Strategy, but continue to call on all political parties to meet the needs of the strategy.

We have a Government committed to making progress in childcare facilities.

When New Labour came to power they faced major challenges in delivering high-quality, affordable childcare to all families.

However, there is still much to be done, and even once the strategy is complete the cost of childcare may still keep high- quality provision out of reach for many families. All political parties need to declare their financial and political commitment to this essential infrastructure.
