An action plan for play policy for younger children in Northern Ireland is to be put out for consultation later this year. Lord Jeff Rooker, minister for children and young people, told the Play Works conference in Derry last week, which was hosted by the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People, that a separate policy for older children would concentrate on recreation and leisure.
