An inspiring new language

For those unfamiliar with Reggio, a brief summary is required. Here is a prosperous town in northern Italy, which, over a 40-year period, has developed a network of world-renowned schools for children aged nought to six years, based on the philosophy and pedagogical guidance of the late Loris Malaguzzi. The town has united behind his concept of the rights and potential of the child. The astonishing results are documented in the schools themselves and in books created by the children.
