The children's book character will welcome children to matinee performances of 'The Nutcracker' and introduce them to the story from the stage before the performance begins. The performance, choreographed by Christopher Hampson, will premiere at the Bristol Hippodrome on 10 October and go on tour to the Manchester Opera House, the Mayflower in Southampton and the London Coliseum.
