Another FDEY course

In response to the article on the Foundation Degree in Early Years (News, 26 January) at South Bank University, I would like to promote Kingston University's Foundation Degree in Early Years course and one of the partner centres, where I am a freelance course tutor. The course is well taught, with supportive academic tutorials and pastoral care built into the module timetables. Kingston's excellent quality assurance policies, practices and procedures are rigorously adhered to, and the students, staff and workplaces benefit from the sharing of experiences, knowledge and ideas.

Students develop their aca-demic reading, writing and research skills, their ability to analyse, reflect and question, and the confidence to contribute with an informed voice to staff meetings and events.
