The four categories to choose from are: 'Making a Difference', for children who have made a huge difference to the lives of others; 'Learning through Involvement', for children who demonstrate they have learned something new by working as part of a small team; 'Building Community Spirit', for outstanding achievements in good citizenship; and 'Reaching for the Stars', which recognises achievements in the face of adversity.

Christine McGrory, managing director of Kids' Clubs Direct, said, 'We want to give children and young people a chance to get their contributions recognised, with the hope that it will build the confidence they need to achieve and be the best they can when they grow up.'
