Best is yet to come

I was shocked and saddened by 'Nurseries Undercover'. Shocked because of the way some staff treated the children in their care and saddened because it gave the impression that this bad practice is commonplace. There was no footage of the thousands of nurseries offering high quality care, where staff are valued, training is paramount and there is a genuine love of working with children.

At a time when private day nurseries are facing the problems of falling numbers and staff recruitment, do we really need yet another knock or is it time to speak out as a group and show the press exactly what we offer?
