Nord Anglia bought the Milton Keynes-based nursery group Bright Horizons last July, doubling its nursery provision. It has since rebranded all 21 of its settings as Princess Christian nurseries. The nursery division's operating profit was 433,000, with a turnover of 2.48m.
Chairman Kevin McNeany said, 'There is a strong integrated management team in place under which the nursery group is progressing well. The 21st nursery opened in Weston-super-Mare last month with an initial occupancy level of 20 per cent, which is excellent for a start-up nursery. Two further new additions are planned within the next few months.'
