Bizz Kidz finds new owner

The Wirral-based Busy Nought to Fives nursery chain has taken over Bizz Kidz, a childcare operator which had two settings in the north-west of England.

The acquisition, which includes a 63-place nursery in Liverpool and a64-place setting in Preston, has pushed the total number of nurseriesoperated by Busy Nought to Fives from five to seven.

The nursery chain, which was established in 1992 by husband-and-wifeteam Emma and Kevin Collins, already owned settings in Warrington,Wirral, Cheshire and Liverpool.

Alex Watson, director of Bizz Kidz, said, 'Our intention was always thatwhen the time was right the business would transfer to a specialistnursery operator.'

The owners of Busy Nought to Fives have pledged to retain all of theoriginal staff from Bizz Kidz.

Kevin Collins said, 'The staff, logo and brand will remain, but thesettings will now be supported by our very experienced team.'
