New funding for nursery group RAFA Kidz, while Happy Days makes move into Wales

A nursery group which operates settings around RAF stations has been awarded more than £250,000 by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, on behalf of the MOD’s Armed Forces Families Fund.

Meanwhile, Happy Days Nurseries has bought its first nursery in Wales, the 21st setting for the group. (see below).

RAFA Kidz, which runs eight nurseries, will use the money to enhance its settings, including improving outdoor areas.

Established in 2019, the nursery group provides childcare to military and civilian families in the communities around RAF stations.

The funding will be used to:
