Brief guide to the national care standards

A brief guide to the national care standards, called 'Using Care Services?' has been published on the Scottish Executive website at www.scotland.gov.uk. The guide explains the principles behind the national standards for all care services - dignity, privacy, choice, safety, realising potential, and equality and diversity. It says that anyone with a complaint about a registered care service or the Care Commission itself can write to the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care, Compass House, 11 Riverside Drive, Dundee DD1 4NY, phone 01382 207100 or visit www.carecommission.com.
