Lauren Selby, eight, searches for some treasure to bury for Captain Blackbeard's Pirates' day at Hedon Library in East Yorkshire. Free half-term sessions were held for five- to 11-year-olds who came dressed in buccaneer gear and enjoyed making model parrots, skull and crossbone flags and treasure maps. Both Hedon Library and neighbouring Brough Library plan to run more dress-up sessions.
