Fredly Kindergarten, Skals, for three-to six-year-olds, resembles a farm.
It is surrounded by fields and woodland and has no formal boundary between the garden and woodland. Its mixture of modern and old buildings include a barn, where the children spend much time diving into the hay, and walk-in cages, which allow the children to be close to the Kindergarten's goats, rabbits and chickens.
In the woodland there is a tepee with a small fire pit. Inside the tepee is a rope swing with wood chippings to provide a soft landing. There are large nets in the pine trees for climbing and rolling in, a zip wire and small shelters.
