Choice words

As a language graduate I read the feature 'Learning the lingo' (18 April) with interest. However, I was dismayed to see the word 'ein' appear twice in the article, when the German word for the number one is, in fact, 'eins'. I am all in favour of young children learning a second language, but only if it is taught correctly!
