Computers are now being used in an increasing number of early years settings, but where can practitioners find ideas and advice on using Information and Communications Technology (ICT) effectively with children in the Foundation Stage?

BECTa (British Educational Communications and Technology agency) is the Government agency responsible for supporting the use of ICT in education. Since last autumn it has been hosting an on-line Foundation Forum where anyone with an interest can join in the discussion. To join the group, contact Julie Wilson at julie.wilson@becta.org.uk.

BECTa is also developing the website to include Foundation pages - again contact Julie for up-to-date information on this.
