Meet up online for early years ICT conference

The use of computers in the Foundation Stage is one of the topics to be covered during a three-day online conference later this month. The theme of the conference, which is being hosted by the British Educational Communications and Technology Agency (BECTA) from 20 to 22 November, is 'ICT in practice: Professional Development and awareness-raising for all'. It is being conducted entirely over the internet and delegates will be able to log on at any time to take part in online seminars and discussions.

It is being conducted entirely over the internet and delegates will be able to log on at any time to take part in online seminars and discussions.

Seminars include ICT in the foundation years, IT and whole-class teaching, and European school ICT opportunities. Workshops include planning and record keeping, and creating and using a school website.
