Cookery lessons

Holding cookery lessons could give early years providers a chance of winning a class set of Kenwood cooking equipment.

Schools and early years settings are invited to join in a 'Cook forLife' challenge to celebrate British Food Fortnight, up until 5 October,to include food and cookery in their curriculum teaching. In total, 66winners will be drawn. Application forms are atwww.britishfoodfortnight.co.uk and the closing date for entries is 17October.

Schools will be kitted out with class sets of Kenwood cooking equipmentand the overall winner will be invited to prepare a sumptuous tea forHRH The Duchess of Cornwall with the help of one of London's top chefs.
