Bread and butter pudding

Ingredients

50g butter, 6 slices white or brown bread, 2 large eggs, 200ml full fat milk, pinch mixed spice or nutmeg, 50g Demerara sugar, 50g sultanas, 25g caster sugar

Children's age: All ages

Makes: Four servings

Preparation time: 25 minutes

Cooking time: 25 minutes

T = together A = adult

A Preheat oven to 170xC.

T Grease an ovenproof dish with butter.

A Cut the crusts off all the slices of bread. Butter each side.

A Cut the bread into triangles or squares.

T Crack the eggs into a bowl, add 200ml of milk and a pinch of mixed spices or nutmeg. Mix well until all of the ingredients are combined.
