'Create single childcare profession'

A new profession should be created that would bring together all those who work with children under a common set of principles and practices, according to 4Children, the new organisation representing children and young people, formerly known as the Kids' Clubs Network. The call was made at a conference held in London today (Thursday) by 4Children as it launched its new identity. At the conference, called 'Tomorrow's world - The childcare revolution and beyond', the re-branded charity unveiled its manifesto, which it described as a 'radical agenda for children and families in every community'.
