The supplement Training Today (20/27 December) states incorrectly on page 19 that the CACHE level 3 Diploma in Pre-school Practice is a framework qualification at Level 2 for pre-school and playgroup assistants. It is in fact a framework qualification at level 3. This amendment ensures that the Diploma is distinct from the Certificate in Pre-school Practice, re-iterates the correct qualification level and, most importantly, points to how the Diploma provides the essential knowledge and skills needed to be a pre-school leader.
