Photocopier

Children used a large box for the body and attached a hinged lid with masking tape. They wrote numbers on small square cards for control buttons and placed a box inside as a paper tray.

Camera

Small boxes and card tubes were made into a camera. Under supervision, children put a hole in the box with a tapered reamer, enlarged it with scissors, pushed a card tube into place and added a small hole in the back of the box to help the photographer to 'focus'.
