Endangered by bureaucracy

Volunteers made impassioned pleas over the burdens of responsibility to comply with increasing levels of bureaucracy and regulation.

I support the campaign 'Red Tape - Cut It Out' launched by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations, because I'm also concerned at the amount of red tape facing voluntary sector pre-school providers of services. It is threatening their existence. Several delegates at our annual conference spoke of their fears that services will cease to operate if more support isn't forthcoming.
