AWhat you need is a baby changing table that can be wall mounted and will fold flat when you're not using it. Asco stocks a Baby Changing Station that is capable of taking a 110kg load and has a concealed pneumatic mechanism for easy opening and closing. The changing surface is concave and includes a safety strap to ensure that the baby cannot roll off. A built-in dispenser that holds disposable changing pads is also included. The changing station measures 57 x 92 x 52cm when open and 57 x 92 x 10cm when closed, and comes with wall fittings, priced 250. A box of disposable changing pads that provide a hygienic barrier between the changing station and the baby costs 40 for 600.

Q I am an architect currently working on the building of a new medical centre. We want to include an area where young children can play and wonder if you have any suggestions as to how we can divide this area off.

A We have tracked down several room dividers in the course of putting Nursery Equipment together and all of the following have been very successfully tested out in nurseries.

Galt sells sets of wooden Rainbow People Panels which, as their name suggests, come in a wide range of colours and are decorated with boy and girl images. Each panel measures 95(w) x 25 (d) x 60cm and they can be used singly or pushed together. A pack of three Rainbow panels costs approximately 100. Telephone 08451 203005

There is a also very good product called AddGards which comes in the shape of a train and is sold in packs of four panels (engine and three carriages) price 199, or as individual panels (49). The panels are made from polyethelene and can easily be snapped together to enclose any size area. Telephone 0800 973 165 www.addgards.com

Finally, Kids Barrier Corriboard from the Killyleagh Box Company is a much cheaper option (5.50 per panel), but is also durable and attractive.

Panels come in a colour choice of red, green, yellow or orange with blue supporting posts. Telephone 028 4482 8708
