Exhibition on the world of illustrated children's books

The world of illustrated children's books is on show in a new exhibition, A Baker's Dozen, organised by Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery and on tour at the Scotland Street School Museum in Glasgow until 15 September. Children's Laureate Quentin Blake was one of the curators of the exhibition, which includes illustrations from his stories and those of Roald Dahl and Hans Christian Andersen. Visiting children can make different types of books of their own, including pop-up and 3-D creations. For information about the activity programme, contact the Scotland Street School Museum on 0141 287 0500.
