The Welsh Assembly Government will re-evaluate funding for theprogramme, after collecting new information about local authorities'plans and discovering an upsurge in birth rates across Wales. Furtherfinancial modelling is expected to show more funding is required. MsHutt held a meeting with representatives from local government, theteaching unions, Estyn and early years specialists on 6 May.
