A new family support service has been launched by Lancashire County Council, aiming to provide a flexible structure with packages of care tailored to those aged from nought to18, either in the family home, in a range of different venues in the local community or at one of the council's ten family support resource centres. Planned services could include parenting assessments and skills, intervention and prevention, child protection and behaviour management.
