Play a game about rooms to tie in with your doll's house project (see overleaf).

Child development opportunities * To confirm the names and status of the rooms in the house.

* To listen and respond to instructions and have fun together.

* To respond dramatically as well as physically to a game.

How to play

* Draw four circles each to represent a room in a house: the kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom.

* Divide the children into groups, one group in each room. Ask the children to act out what they are doing in the rooms.

* One child stands in the middle outside the rooms.
