A three-year media campaign on home safety for children is to be launched by the Government to coincide with Child Safety Week, which runs from the 23 - 29 June.
The Fire Kills campaign offers advice on how to teach children firesafety in the kitchen and encourages parents to cook with theirchildren. The Child Accident Prevention Trust has also published newresearch showing the attitude of parents to child home safety, availableat www.capt.org.uk or www.direct.gov.uk/childsafety.
