Grandir UK acquires the Maggie & Rose nursery group

Grandir UK, which owns Kiddi Caru, has acquired all three Maggie & Rose nurseries based in London.

The Maggie & Rose settings in Chiswick, Islington, and Kensington have a combined capacity of over 180 children.

With the deal, Grandir UK now has 59 nurseries.

The first Maggie & Rose nursery opened in 2006.

Former director of the nurseries, Wei Kwan, who will continue to operate Maggie & Rose family members’ club, said, ‘We are delighted to welcome Grandir UK to the Maggie & Rose family and excited for the opportunities this will create for the nursery teams in Kensington, Chiswick and Islington as well as Maggie & Rose UK as a whole.’

The deal was overseen by mergers and acquisitions advisors Novistra Capital, with legal representation from BDB Pitmans, Wiggin, and GLP.
