(Photograph) - Hannah Ewing and Hattie Barne from Westercoates Nursery School in Edinburgh add the final touches to their willow sculpture with help from Brian Hartley, resident artist at the North Edinburgh Arts Centre. Their creation is part of the Centre's visual arts project for under-fives, which last week received an Engage Scotland Visual Arts Education award, in association with the Scottish Arts Council. Rosie Gibson, artist-in-residence at North Edinburgh Arts Centre, said, 'This project is fulfilling the richness of childhood creativity rather than only preparing for future learning.'
