This year's World Forum in Auckland, New Zealand, attracted relatively few UK participants, but Ms Norris hopes to encourage more early years practitioners to take part next year. She said, 'There's lots to be learned from people in different parts of the world and it's good to put out information about what we're doing.'
The 2002 World Forum attracted more than 500 practitioners from over 80 nations. The 2003 World Forum, organised by the US publication Childcare Information Exchange, will take place in Acapulco, Mexico, from 13 to 16 May. More information, including details about funding opportunities, is available on www.ChildCareExchange.com.
