(Photograph) - Hospitals are being urged to stick these cartoons to cots in maternity units in a bid to advise parents on the best way to avoid cot death. The scheme, set up by the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID) and backed by nursery product manufacturer Tomy UK, provides cartoon stickers warning parents to put babies to sleep on their backs, ensure they are not too hot and avoid smoking in pregnancy and afterwards.
