Huge demand for a booklet giving parents and carers advice on talking to children about prejudice and discrimination

Huge demand for a booklet giving parents and carers advice on talking to children about prejudice and discrimination has led to its third reprint in four months. Nearly 15,000 copies of the Fair Play booklet, jointly produced by children's charities Barnardo's Northern Ireland and Save the Children, have been distributed to community groups, parents' groups and schools in Northern Ireland since it was launched in Derry in June. A free copy of the booklet is available from either Eilish Robinson at Barnardo's on 028 9049 1081, or e-mail niparenting.matters@ barnardos.org.uk; or Rosie McDonald at Save the Children on 028 9043 1123.
