(Photograph) - Visitors to Edinburgh's Museum of Childhood this month have enjoyed an exhibition of touching and illuminating photographs of babies and young children, Living, Loving and Learning. Organised by Early Education and supported by the Boots Company, the touring exhibition was launched last year and will now move on to a conference in the East Riding of Yorkshire, followed by a children's centre and a regional conference in the north-east of England. Moira Small, chair of the Edinburgh and Lothian branch of Early Education, said, 'We had a great launch party, with a speech from Colwyn Trevarthen, the professor of child psychology at Edinburgh University. It's a charming exhibition - the photographs are lovely.' A booklet of the photographs, which includes reflections and insights from early years experts, writers and others, is available from Early Education for 4.50 plus p&p.
