Guidance on special needs has been posted on the Scottish Executive website at www. scotland.gov.uk, following a number of enquiries from the public and a new consultation on the records of needs system for children with special educational needs (News, 24 May). The consultation runs until the end of July and the document, Assessing our Children's Educational Needs: The way forward?, is also on the website.
