In Brief: National Childminding Association's report

The National Childminding Association's report, The Use of the Welsh Language within Childminding Settings in Wales, reveals that 90 per cent of registered childminders use Welsh to some extent with the children they care for. The study, done by Beaufort Research and part-funded by the European Social Fund, recommends that parents ask for the use of Welsh in childminding settings. The report can be downloaded from www.ncma.org.uk.
