The National Childminding Association is sending a team of 12 runners to take part in the British 10km Open Road Race later this month. NCMA chief executive Gill Haynes, who is one of the runners, said, 'Our team aims to raise the profile of registered childminding and to raise funds for our 25th anniversary bursary fund. Bursaries will be offered to registered childminders to have training to enable them to care for children with additional needs.' The NCMA is one of 180 charities taking part in the race in central London on 22 July. Sponsorship forms are available by sending an SAE to the NCMA, 8 Masons Hill, Bromley, Kent BR2 9EY.
