Sectarian behaviour in children as young as three in Scotland could be tackled by a programme being proposed by the Scottish Pre-school Play Association, who are holding a seminar to discuss it at the Scottish Parliament. It follows a successful campaign by Nippa, Northern Ireland's largest early years organisation, which found that very young children were using sectarian remarks and developed a programme with the US charity the Peace Initiatives Institute.
