In brief...A 16m contract to supply almost

A 16m contract to supply almost 600 primary schools in Northern Ireland with computers under the Province's Classroom 2000 initiative was announced last week by education minister Martin McGuinness. Eighty schools a month will have computers installed over the coming year, providing 52,000 pupils with state-of-the-art equipment, Internet and e-mail access.
