In brief...Asperger Syndrome conference

Asperger Syndrome is the focus of a day conference held by the National Autistic Society in Glasgow on 14 September. The conference, open to professionals and parents, will discuss such areas as social skills, diagnosis and approaches to behaviours. Speakers include Professor Ann Le Couteur, professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Newcastle, Dr Fiona Knott, clinical child psychologist at Hawkhead Hospital in Paisley, and Dr Fiona Scott, research co-ordinator at the Autism Research Centre in Cambridge.
