The site, at www.childcarelink.gov.uk, gives instant access to local childcare information, advice and contacts in any area of England and Scotland. Employment and equal opportunities minister Margaret Hodge said, 'The website will help staff get free, local childcare information.' For those without a computer, there is a DfEE Childcare Link helpline on 0800 096 0296.
