The DfEE's Childcare Link website is now available free of charge to all employers to place on company intranet sites. The site, www.childcarelink. gov.uk, gives instant access to local childcare information, advice and contacts in any area of England and Scotland. Employers are also being asked to advertise the DfEE's freephone Childcare Link help line number, 0800 096 0296. Employment minister Margaret Hodge said, 'The website will help staff get free, local childcare information.'
