Many of the 16,000 pre-schools and playgroups in membership of the Pre-school Learning Alliance are in similar situations - determined to provide high-quality childcare and early years education in parent-involving community settings, but facing barriers, the most intransigent of which is limitations on premises. Our Expansion Project is available with resources, information and advice to support pre-schools that are considering developing their provision in order to better meet the needs of their communities and to secure sustainability.
