CHRISTMAS CRACKERS

Handmade crackers look pretty under the tree or decorating the festive dinner table.

You will need

cardboard tubes; tissue paper; gift ribbon; luggage labels; sticky tape; PVA glue; scissors; stickers, sequins; gold/silver pens; glitter glue What to do

Cut a cardboard tube to an appropriate size and slide a small gift into the tube. Wrap several sheets of tissue paper around the tube, securing the tissue with tape and leaving an overlap of at least 8cm at each end. Tie a length of gift ribbon around the tissue at each end of the tube to turn it into a cracker. Curl the ends of the gift ribbon by running them between your thumb and the blunt edge of a knife. Decorate the cracker with Christmas stickers and sequins and tie on a label with the name of the recipient.
